Özay Günsel Children University, which aims to bring children together with science and scientists, arts and artists, sports and athletes at an early age in order to realize their own talents and create their own success stories, continues its programs with 2020 Summer Academic Period including creative and enjoyable activities.
Students at Özay Günsel Children University, completing the first two weeks of the summer period with fun and various programs suitable for the age group of children, continue STEAM programs based on the 21st century education practices, and carry out their studies with professors, associate professors, assistant professors, doctors and specialist academicians who specialize on Mathematics, Science, Technology (Engineering) and Art (Painting).
They learn to build a flower bed at the Faculty of Construction, making a kite at the Faculty of Fine Arts, discover their talents in the ceramics and clay workshop, experience robotic coding at the Faculty of Engineering, design their own fairy tale books at the Faculty of Education, learn the sign language, learn what are in the ambulance at the Faculty of Medicine, develop products from endemic plants at the Faculty of Pharmacy, learn how to make DNA from the fruit, make dental prosthesis from the play dough at the Faculty of Dentistry, study with how we-do sets, study with the Mathematics programs at the Faculty of Arts and Science, and to code the Virtual EV3 robot.

During the summer education, which is carried out with the education model based on the learning of children by touching and experiencing, the students learn the medical and technical equipment features of the ambulances, which have an undeniable place in the first and emergency services, and apply the first-aid practices to the patient in the ambulance. In order to prevent loss of time in emergency cases that are vitally important, students learn about how the patient's information is brought to the hospital before the ambulance arrives at the hospital, and learn about the hygiene rules to be followed.
With the We-Do sets, they improve their robotic task skills with software
In the trainings given with EV3 sets in order to provide the 21st century skills and achievements in the fields of science, engineering, and mathematics, students are provided with opportunities to develop their skills while exploring and learning the coding and robotics basics. In the trainings using we-do 3, which is one of the most important versions of Lego sets and one of the important sets to do stem studies, students learn by studying on real-life projects, engineering, technology, and coding experiences.
