Özay Günsel Children University was represented at the World Children's Conference with two papers. At the conference held online due to the measures taken against the Covid-19 pandemic, academics and researchers specializing on child development and education from Turkey, Pakistan, India, Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan participated at the conference and made scientific presentations.

Özay Günsel Children University presented two papers at the conference, where 95 verbal presentations were presented on topics varying from child health to child education, from consumption to children who are victims of war.

Özay Günsel Children University Rector Prof. Dr. Filiz Meriçli, General Secretary Duygu Kaptanoğlu Coşkun and General Coordinator Çağla Akarsel shared the student satisfaction and development data collected regarding the activities held by Children's University during the 2019-2020 Academic Year. Also at the conference, Prof. Dr. Filiz Meriçli and Duygu Kaptanoğlu Coşkun presented a paper titled "An Example of Children's University Practices in the Evaluation of Children Out of School Time" and Prof. Dr. Filiz Meriçli and Specialist Dr. Çağla Akarsel presented a paper titled “The Place of Cognitive Group Psychotherapy Activities in Children between the ages of 12-15 in Children's Universities”.

Rector Prof. Dr. Filiz Meriçli and Duygu Kaptanoğlu Coşkun presented a paper titled 'An Example of Children's University Practices in the Evaluation of Children's Out-of-School Time'. The contribution of children to discovering their own talents and their development was explained according to the findings.

According to the data obtained, it was observed that the students were highly satisfied with the educational activity programs. It was noted that the trainings increased children's awareness of the environment, they learned with fun, collaborated with their peers and the program allowed them to socialize.

In the paper titled "The Place of Cognitive Group Psychotherapy Activities in Children between 12-15 Age Group in Children's Universities" and presented by Prof. Dr. Filiz Meriçli and Specialist Çağla Akarsel, the applied group psychotherapy activities and their positive effects were evaluated.

Özay Günsel Children University implements group psychotherapies that will guide children and adolescents throughout their study periods in order to raise individuals who can establish healthy relations, have high empathy skills, have developed social awareness, and create a healthy society of the future.

The relationship between the psychotherapy activities applied during the summer academic term of Özay Günsel Children University and the triad of thoughts, feelings and behaviors of students aged 12-15 was examined. It was explained that group studies were carried out on how to eliminate the physical sensations caused by emotions such as anxiety, fear and stress.
