Özay Günsel Children University has integrated the book titled "Creativity in Early Childhood and Creative Children Activities", which includes creative art activities, into its educational materials.

Özay Günsel Children University officials visited Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design faculty member and Head of Plastic Arts Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Yücel Yazgın who co-uthored the book, and exchanged views. During the visit, Özay Günsel Children University Rector Prof. Dr. Filiz Meriçli, Secretary General Duygu Kaptanoğlu Coşkun, General Coordinator Çağla Akarsel and coordinators Aysun Gencebay and Mina Darbaz were present. During the visit, which emphasized that teacher and parent attitude is very important in developing children's artistic skills, it was agreed that the book should be used by educators as a guide for interactive educational and artistic creativity activities with children.

The book titled “Creativity in Early Childhood and Creative Children Activities” includes the role of the educator in the development of creativity in childhood and the support of creativity, art development in early childhood, the relationships of originality and creativity in art fields, the place of art studies in the education program and creative art activities.

Özay Günsel Children University Rector Prof. Dr. Filiz Meriçli said that they aim to enable children to express their personal feelings and thoughts in the best way through artworks with which they can demonstrate their creative handicraft skills. The book titled "Creativity in Early Childhood and Creative Children Activities" and co-authored by Assist. Prof. Dr. Yücel Yazgın will also be a resource for the development and training of educators.

Prof. Dr. Meriçli also reminded that the 2020-2021 Fall Academic Semester classes are held free of charge and online for all children.
