Özay Günsel Children University, which continues its educational programs through online activities, organized activities aimed at teaching children how to improve their time management skills. In the ongoing fall semester trainings for 6-8-year-old World Group, 9-11-year-old Solar Group, and 12-15-year-old Galaxy Group students, educational activities on English, meaning in words, letter revolution, and sign language were held in addition to time management activities.

Children should do their time scheduling
In the activity, which emphasized the importance of time planning depending on the age of the child, Galaxy Group students were informed about how to use time effectively and the importance of time planning. With the education that children received in time management, it is aimed to contribute to being an individual who knows the value of the moment and acts accordingly. In the activity, tips about making weekly plans and what should be considered while making their own time planning were emphasized.

Storytelling in foreign language education...
In order to improve Sun Group students' foreign language speaking skills, stories from English children's books were played. In the activity, which supported the development of children's English listening skills, games were played by making drawings about the words, colors and animals in the stories.

World Group students participated in the "word and meaning" event. Children learned synonyms, antonyms, and synonyms through games. The students, who had knowledge about words that are opposite to each other in meaning, words that are different in spelling and pronunciation but have the same meaning, did exercises on the subject.

They reinforced their sentence-making skills with sign language...
The subject of verbs was discussed in the sign language education that all group students received every week. Having learned how to show verbs with sign language, the students formed sentences by combining the words they learned.

They learned about alphabets used in the world...
Within the scope of the "Did you know these?" activities, students were informed about the letter revolution and other alphabets used in the world. Within the scope of the event, how the first alphabet was born and how different alphabets emerged with cultural, political and religious influences were explained with examples. Students also learned about the "Letter Revolution" carried out by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
