Özay Günsel Children's University, which carries out its educational activities online, is continuing to teach science, technology, engineering, mathematics and art to children in new and attractive ways with the STEAM model it applies throughout its education curriculum.

Özay Günsel Children's University, which creates educational programs for the personal development of different age groups, will develop the curriculum for the Spring Term trainings and implement trainings aimed at directing children to research, explore and learn and create new things. In this context, activities titled "My Friend Mathematics" and "Scientist of the Week" were added to the curriculum in the new term.

Fun and new educational and informative activities...
Aiming to eliminate students' negative opinions about mathematics, the "My Friend Mathematics" activity aims to increase children's mathematical skills, encourage them to solve questions, and learn the place of mathematics in our lives with examples from daily life. In the "Scientist of the Week" activity, children will be shown how they can create innovations by using their imaginations, to reveal their curiosity with examples from the lives of scientists, inventors and explorers.

Özay Günsel Children's University Rector Prof. Dr. Filiz Meriçli said that they will continue to enrich their education programs by renewing them. Prof. Dr. Meriçli said, "We aim to enrich the lives and perceptions of children by using science, technology, engineering, mathematics and art effectively." In the new education period, Prof. Dr. Meriçli said, “We attach great importance to this event. We aim to eliminate children's fear of mathematics and perceive the importance of mathematics with fun mathematics operations from daily life."

With the “Scientist of the Week” event, it is aimed to introduce children to the people they will inspire from. Prof. Dr. Meriçli said, “We want children to realize that the scientists also were children like themselves. We want our children to be motivated and inspired by looking at their surroundings, examining them, and explaining that they discovered innovations by dreaming."
