Providing free distance education to all children due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Özay Günsel Children's University continued its weekend education with interesting and intriguing activities in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

Students of the World Group aged 6-8, Solar Group aged 9-11 and Galaxy Group aged 12-15 held artistic activities that developed their imagination as well as improving their English vocabulary and learning about the concept of time management in their Saturday training.

English reinforcement and development activity...
Organizing an English activity at Özay Günsel Children's University, where an education program that supports early second language learning for children, World group students learned new English words and practiced the correct pronunciation of these words. The content of the lesson was enriched with pictures to support the expansion of the vocabulary of the students who enjoy the interactive study.

Time management skills gained...
The Sun group students, who carried out a time management activity, also learned to use time correctly. Within the scope of the course, information aimed at teaching students to use time consciously was given. The aim was to make children realize the value and use of the concept of time at an early age.

Galaxy Group students, on the other hand, experienced imagining an abstract thought and putting it into painting in the activity "I Travel From Proverbs to Pictures". The visualization of thought was discussed in the event, which aimed to develop children's skills by developing their imagination for artistic works. The children expressed their understanding of proverbs and idioms with pictures.

In the "My Friend Mathematics" activity, which was carried out by all group students, addition and subtraction studies were carried out. The 'My Friend Mathematics' activity aims to make mathematics more enjoyable with examples from daily life, to make students love mathematics, thus to make children familiar with mathematics and to develop mathematical - analytical thinking skills.

Within the scope of the lesson, which was implemented in order to ensure that children gain sensitivity, understand and support hearing-impaired children, the students learned the time concepts in sign language and made exercises.
