Good news from Özay Günsel Children’s University on World Children’s Day: The 4th World Children’s Congress will be held in Nicosia on 15-16 June with the participation of more than 50 countries!

Özay Günsel Children’s University, the first and only children’s university in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, announced important news on World Children’s Day. The World Children’s Congress, which will be held for the fourth time this year with the participation of more than 50 countries, will be held in the TRNC.

At the World Children Congress, which will be held on the Near East University campus in Nicosia on 15-16 June 2023, with the participation of universities from many countries of the world, many topics will be discussed, from children’s rights to education, from migration to child labor, from family to sports, from nutrition to health problems.

With the World Children’s Congress, which was previously held online due to pandemic conditions, scientists will come together in Nicosia this year for the future of the world’s children.

The 4th World Children’s Congress, which also offers an online participation option, will be organized under the leadership of Özay Günsel Children’s University and with the support of Near East University and the University of Kyrenia. Near East University Social Research and Development Center and GÜNSEL Academy will also support the congress.

The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 4th World Children’s Congress, of which Honorary President will be Özay Günsel Children’s University Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Anna Günsel, will be Prof. Dr. Zehra Altınay, and Prof. Dr. Fahriye Altınay takes over the presidency of Scientific Committee.

Representatives from many countries will be present
In addition to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey, last year, universities and scientists from the USA, Russia, China, England, Canada, Sweden, Spain, India, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and many other countries took part in the congress, and many more representatives will attend the congress this year.

Özay Günsel Children’s University Board of Trustees and Honorary President of the 4th World Children’s Congress Anna Günsel said, “The fact that the World Children’s Congress, which is an important vision meeting that will shape the future of the world’s children, will be held face-to-face in our country this year.”

Anna Günsel, who also expressed her excitement that the World Children’s Congress, which is dedicated to children and crosses the borders of our country, said, “We will host an extremely important organization on behalf of our children, with the support of the Near East University and the University of Kyrenia.”

Günsel, who also thanked the Economic Development and Social Research Association (İKSAD), the Near East University Social Research and Development Center and the GÜNSEL Academy, which contributed to the organization of the congress, and said, “I invite all academics and scientists in our country to participate the World Children’s Congress with their scientific studies.”
