Children will be introduced to the magical world of technology with Digital Game Workshop, Coding Workshop (Arduino), Fundamentals of Design and 3D Printing, Robotics Workshop (LEGO EV3), Competency Workshop and institution visits at the “Technology and Innovation School” to be organized by Özay Günsel Children’s University and Günsel Academy between July 1 and August 2.
The “Technology and Innovation School” summer program, exclusively organized by Özay Günsel Children’s University and Günsel Academy for children between the ages of 9-17, will start on July 1. Educational programs aiming to turn summer vacation into a fun and educational experience for children will introduce children to the magical world of technology with digital game design, coding, robotic coding, and 3D printing design. Competence workshops and institutional visits will open the doors for children to discover themselves and their interests.
Programs organized with the support of GÜNSEL Academy aim to help children discover new areas of interest while increasing their academic success. The Digital Game Workshop, Coding Workshop (Arduino), Fundamentals of Design and 3D Printing, Robotics Workshop (LEGO EV3), Competency Workshop and Institutional Tours programs will provide a platform for children to learn while having fun within the scope of the “Technology and Innovation School” to be held between 1 July and 2 August.
A summer full of science and technology!
Children who will participate in the summer program will have a full summer by experiencing science, art and education together. They will become aware of robotics and creativity at the “Arduino Coding Workshop”. They will have the opportunity to observe the production environment at GÜNSEL Electric Vehicles Factory and discover the details of robotics and coding. They will design their own robots with “LEGO, MINDSTORMS EV3” and create their own games using their creativity in the “Digital Game Workshop”.
In addition, they will learn the intricacies of 3D design and create objects in the computer environment with “Basic Modeling and Design Training”. They will print the projects they designed in the 3D printing laboratories at Near East University and GÜNSEL Electric Vehicles Factory. In the “Competency Workshop”, they will improve themselves in innovation and creativity and gain the competencies needed by the 21st century. Thanks to the programs, children will increase their awareness by having a fun and educational summer.
Anna Günsel, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Özay Günsel Children’s University, said, “In this period when technology is rapidly developing, we attach great importance to our children gaining the necessary knowledge and skills to follow the latest developments closely and implement their own projects. They will gain important experience in subjects such as game design, coding, robotic coding and 3D printing design.”
Stating that, as Özay Günsel Children’s University, they aim to create an educational environment where children can discover themselves by increasing their awareness while preparing them for the future, Anna Günsel said, “We aim to introduce our children to the magical world of technology and innovation with our summer programs that will be held between July 1 and August 2.”
