Özay Günsel Children's University, as part of its social responsibility project, has begun giving "LEGO Spike" courses, which include robotics and coding training, to children at the SOS Children's Village.

Özay Günsel Children's University, which has implemented numerous innovative programs to develop children's imagination, boost their self-confidence, and help them become better prepared for the future, is now offering "LEGO Spike Robotics Training" specifically for SOS Children's Village students. This training, organized as part of its social responsibility initiative, aims to foster an interest in technology and equip the children attending the SOS Children's Village with 21st-century skills.

In the year-long training, children will learn to design and code their own robots using Spike and EV3 sets developed by LEGO Education, while also receiving one-on-one instruction from expert and certified instructors. The program will not only provide technical knowledge but will also develop essential life skills such as creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, self-confidence, and social communication. Each session will be conducted in small groups of six, fostering both individual development and interaction within the group.

The training, which aims to increase students' interest in technology, will also support their academic and social development. Through courses that offer a fun learning environment, children will transform their creativity into tangible projects while also acquiring important skills that will prepare them for the future.

Anna Günsel: “The LEGO Spike Robotics Training we launched specifically for SOS Children's Village students is an important part of our mission to provide equal educational opportunities for every child.”

Anna Günsel, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Özay Günsel Children's University, commented on the LEGO Spike Robotics Training Courses they launched for children studying at SOS Children's Village: “As Özay Günsel Children's University, our top priority is to support our children's imagination and creativity and prepare them for the future in the best possible way. Anna Günsel emphasized that LEGO Spike Robotics Training isn't limited to just imparting technical knowledge, saying, "This program also aims to develop essential life skills like problem-solving, self-confidence, teamwork, and social communication. Our top priority is to foster our children's interest in technology while supporting their academic and personal development. This program, which offers one-on-one instruction in small groups, allows our children to learn while having fun and take better-equipped steps toward the future."
